How To Handle and Manage Stress

Dear Chapel Family,

We are experiencing tension and stress in our lives daily.

When it gets to a point it is overwhelming, you have to

LET GO and SAY NO!!!!
  1. Acknowledge what makes you upset and or frustrated, avoid it.
  2. Prioritize your activities to avoid overburdening your time.  Be HAPPY each day!
Enjoy Life!!
  1. Meditate-Practice Yoga, deep breathing exercises can calm you.
  2. Exercise daily to:

a. Reduce excess weight to maintain a healthy heart

b. Support your body in regulating blood sugar and insulin levels

c. Improve your mental health and moods

d. Stimulate your mind to stay sharp as you age

e. Acquire more energy

f. Strengthen your bones and more…..

Have more ME time:

a. Take the time to do something that makes you feel good!

b. Read a book

Eat more nutritious meals:

a. Add Organic fruits and vegetables

b. Drink more water daily

c. Eat more HOME COOKED meals and less processed foods (Fast Foods)

Sleep a minimum of 6-8 hours

a. Stimulate your serotonin in your brain cells to rest

  1. Avoid Alcohol/Drugs to avoid major complications within your body
  2. Talk to someone you can trust (Don’t hold it in)
  3. Don’t be ashamed to seek Professional Assistance
